His outside interests include biking, skiing, racing his sports car, exploring Boulder and Denver restaurants with Penni, and trying to stay ahead of the deer and the weeds which are competing for the garden.

Dr. Dina Brudenell Dr. Dina has been in practice in Boulder for 20 years. She considers Colorado home though she grew up in Chattanoga, TN, graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis, did her internship at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, and served as a general medical officer in the US Public Health Service in Alaska. She focused her attention on children while she completed her service in Anchorage at the Alaska Native Medical Center and decided to return to do a residency in pediatrics in Charlotte, NC, at the Charlotte Memorial Hospital; which served as a referral hospital for western North Carolina. After completion of her residency, she went into private practice in Boulder and continues to find her work here very rewarding.

She is married to Ed Altman and together they have six children and 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, travel, history and photography. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church and also tries to stay current in the political arena by attending meetings of various elected officials. As a strong advocate for children, Dr. Brudenell is naturally drawn to organizations that share her passion -- she is currently working with Blue Sky Bridge. She also supports the arts in Denver and Boulder and enjoys both opera and music.

Her desire for children is to see them grow up healthy with two loving parents who will help them realize their great potential. "Children are truly our most treasured resource."
