Jill Hobson, a native Iowan, studied psychology, then nursing at the University of Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1976. While working at the Pediatric Intensive Care unit, she observed the pediatric nurse practitioner who worked with the cardiology team and decided that was the nursing specialty she wanted to pursue.
She chose the Universiy of Colorado's master's degree program because of is top national ranking and graduated in 1980.
Jill has been employed as a head nurse/nurse manager at Rose Medical Center, University Hospital, Presbyterian/St. Luke's and as a nurse practitioner at the Jefferson County Health Dept and People's Clinic. She came to the Pediatric Center in 1991. Interests include outdoor activities and travel. She keeps busy with her son and all of his activities
Lynn Kimball has been a Boulder resident since 1979. She moved here for the beautiful outdoor environment and progressive social climate.
Lynn completed her nursing undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, specializing in maternal and newborn care. More recently, Lynn completed a postmaster’s pediatric nurse practitioner program at UCHSC. Before joining The Pediatric Center, Lynn was employed for many years at Boulder Community Hospital in the Family Birth Center in various clinical and educational roles. She is an international board-certified lactation consultant.
Lynn’s family includes two teenage children and a husband whose is an engineer at Texas Instruments. She feels that raising healthy children is the most challenging and fulfilling goal one can have in life. She enjoys teaching and providing care to families in support of this goal.
