The Pediatric Center is happy to announce that Dr. Ellen McCormack will joining our practice in mid-July, 2024.
Dr. Ellen McCormack (she/her) is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Boulder and is thrilled to care for patients in her home community.
After studying chemistry at Pomona College in California, she realized that her love of science and working with kids had a natural home in pediatrics. Dr. McCormack attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She then practiced in Western Massachusetts before returning to Colorado in 2021 to work at a health center in Denver. She is very excited to be settled in the Boulder area and to join the wonderful team at The Pediatric Center.
Dr. McCormack has always loved kids and values developing long-term relationships with families and patients. Her approach to care centers on collaborating with families in order to reach health goals. She enjoys the creativity of working with children and adolescents who have diverse needs and getting to see them grow up into wonderful young adults.
Ellen enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter. She likes dancing and skiing, and in her remaining free time she loves to frequent bookstores and bakeries.
