Rebecca Thoreson, PNP, IBLC

Becca Thoreson is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with 20+ years in primary care pediatrics and emergency medicine. Becca completed her undergraduate degree in General Science at Portland State University. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, where she became Nurse Practitioner.  Becca has provided health care internationally in Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico.  Prior to joining The Pediatric Center, she was a provider at Children's Hospital of Colorado, in the Emergency Department, and also practiced general pediatrics in Hawaii.

Becca was raised in Ann Arbor, MI, and lived in Portland, OR, San Francisco and Hawaii before settling in Colorado with her husband to raise their three children. A former elite ultimate Frisbee player, she spends much of her free time coaching and supporting her kids’ ultimate teams. Becca and her family enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling as a family.

Becca has been a practicing IBCLC (Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant) since 2007 and enjoys helping new moms at a time when a little support can provide a lifetime of benefits. She thrives on working closely with families with kids of all ages to foster well-being and provide comfort and care. Becca is honored to be a healthcare resource for the families at The Pediatric Center.
